  You could not feel more welcome in this b&b.. I read the reviews about the owner and they could not be more right. Mary is a wonderful host, a woman that would go beyond and further to accommodate you and make you feel welcome. She makes sure that you are happy from the first moment you arrive. Rooms are fine and breakfast is OK. But what I think it makes the whole place light up is Mary's personality and the way she looks after her guests... Of you are in youghal for a few days, do not hesitate in booking in with her. You wont be disappointed..

  Beautiful setting, with a delightful landlady, Mary. Homemade bread, fresh clean rooms with understandable plumbing for once. Excellent value for money, and I only wish I could live here.

  My husband Andrew and I stayed for just one night in this delightful B&B and were treated so well by our hostess. Everything was perfect. The location on a quiet lane above the main streets with amazing sea views. Parking in the driveway just outside the house. The welcome , our ensuite room with tea & coffee, fresh milk and biscuits, the fabulous view of the town and the sea and the heating, as the day had turned chilly.
  Breakfast was delightful, cooked to order at a time to suit us. Lots to choose from with cereals, fruit juice soda bread and bacon, eggs, sausages, tomatoes.
  We had a wonderful evening with a short stroll down the path in front of the B&B onto the main st. We enjoyed a Chinese meal and a mini pub crawl before returning to Glen House for one of the most relaxing night's sleep. Mrs Goggins is a marvellous lady and we wished we could have stayed longer. Thank you for a proper Irish welcome.
